Hands-on electrical design meets certified machine safety expertise.
Design Wire was founded on control systems and electrical design for industrial automation. Over the past two years, that expertise has been sharpened into a specialism: I completed the CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert), CECE (Certified Expert in CE Marking) and CEFS (Certified Expert in Functional Safety) qualifications through Pilz, certified by TÜV NORD — three of the most rigorous credentials available in machinery safety and compliance.
That means I don't just design control systems — I can tell you, with certainty, whether a machine meets the risk assessment, safeguarding, and CE marking requirements it needs to, and then do the electrical work to close any gaps myself.
I work with manufacturers and machine builders across New Zealand and internationally, on everything from a single risk assessment to full CE marking projects and legacy machine safety upgrades, with 15 yrs behind the electrical design side of that work.
