Machine Safety Upgrades
Guarding, interlocks, safety circuit design, and functional safety verification (ISO 13849) for existing machinery — often the outcome of a risk assessment, an insurer requirement, or a new customer's audit. I design and can deliver the electrical fix, not just recommend one.
A formal risk assessment under ISO 12100, identifying hazards, evaluating risk, and setting out the safeguarding measures needed to bring a machine into compliance. Delivered as clear, audit-ready documentation — not just a checklist.
CE Marking & Compliance
End-to-end CE marking support: technical documentation, conformity assessment, and the Declaration of Conformity — covering the current Machinery Directive and the incoming Machinery Regulation ((EU) 2023/1230), mandatory from 20 January 2027. If you're exporting to the EU, UK, or other CE-recognising markets, this is where to start.
